Temporary restrictions on hosepipe use from Saturday 8 August 2026
Lifton is an attractive village set in a corner of West Devon with a wealth of history and interest. It is in the valley of the river Lyd, about a mile from where it meets with the river Tamar and four miles East of Launceston. Lifton falls within the Borough of West Devon and with a population of 1180, plays an important role as a local centre for jobs and services.
